چکیده

Tumor Immunotherapeutic Gels In article number 2204273, Dunfang Zhang, Hang Zhao, and co-workers demonstrate that an inosine-based supramolecular hydrogel, IPBisoG, can achieve the gradual sequential release of inosine aPDL1. Inosine, which enhancs proliferation function CD8+ T cells, together with aPDL1, blocker immunosuppressive pathway in tumor microenvironment, could highly enhance vivo efficacy PD-L1 blockade therapy.

Design and development of CAR-T cells for cancer therapy

Introduction: Today, treatment with CAR-T cells is accepted as an effective treatment for blood malignancies. CAR-T cells are autologous T cells that are engineered by gene transfer techniques to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR). Despite the promising results and the approval of six CAR-T cell products; these products have not yet been approved for solid tumors. In addition, the high c...

Metamaterials: Snapping Mechanical Metamaterials under Tension (Adv. Mater. 39/2015).

By exploiting snap-through instabilities, D. Pasini and co-workers design a damage-tolerant mechanical metamaterial that snaps sequentially under tension, thereby accommodating a very large deformation up to 150%. On page 5931, they describe how the nonlinear mechanical response of the metamaterial can be robustly programmed by tuning the architecture of its unit cell.

PDL1 Regulation by p53 via miR-34.

BACKGROUND Although clinical studies have shown promise for targeting PD1/PDL1 signaling in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the regulation of PDL1 expression is poorly understood. Here, we show that PDL1 is regulated by p53 via miR-34. METHODS p53 wild-type and p53-deficient cell lines (p53(-/-) and p53(+/+) HCT116, p53-inducible H1299, and p53-knockdown H460) were used to determine if p5...

Efficient multiparticle entanglement via asymmetric Rydberg blockade.

We present an efficient method for producing N particle entangled states using Rydberg blockade interactions. Optical excitation of Rydberg states that interact weakly, yet have a strong coupling to a second control state is used to achieve state dependent qubit rotations in small ensembles. On the basis of quantitative calculations, we predict that an entangled quantum superposition state of e...
